The Jackson 5 - “I Want You Back” (Dimitri From Paris remix)

Really digging this remix from Dimitri From Paris. In his words, it’s the “super heavy funk brakes remix” of “I Want You Back”

Oh baby, all I need is one more chance
Won’t you please let me back in your heart?

I love this remix. Apparently this is what Jason Bentley was spinning at a Golden Globe afterparty earlier this year, that got Paul McCartney to hit the dancefloor!

Happy Monday! This week’s mix is full of some of my favorite remixes (and a couple non-remixes). It’s rare that I find a remix of a song that I like as much as the original, but I’ve included a few of my favorites. Nothing like a remix to get your summer started!

As always, click-through for the download from MediaFire. Previous mixtapes can be found here:#01 | #02 | #03 | #04 | #05 | #06 | #07 | #08 | #09 | #10 | #11 | #12 | #13 | #14 | #15 | #16 | #17 | #18

(If an older mixtape isn’t available on MediaFire, ask me and I can reupload it for you.)

Got back from Austin last night, so my Mixtape Monday is day late. Sorry! The photo is of The Pennybacker Bridge in Austin, on Loop 360. This week’s mix is all Motown classics — oldies but goodies! If these songs don’t make you sing or dance along, I don’t know if we can continue to be friends. (Fun fact: “Please Mr. Postman” by The Marvelettes was the first Motown/Tamla single to hit number one on the Billboard Top 100 chart!)
