Hey guys! This week’s mix is all from artists I was lucky enough to catch at SXSW a week and a half ago! If you’d like to grab some more mp3s, you can head over to Aurgasm and check out the SXSW recaps. There are a ton of great artists that I got to see, so it was hard to narrow it down.
Also, the photo is from when Serena and I went over to the Congress Bridge to see the bats. (The only like, 3 photos from SXSW that I still have after my iPhone crapped out on me are the ones I uploaded to Instagram.) Sigh. So, I saw this print in the bathroom of a gastropub down in Orange County this weekend. It made me laugh, so I took a picture. Don’t take this as a sign to feed your pets beer, it’s probably not a good idea. Hope you guys like the tunes — the first track is actually one of my favorite Mumford & Sons songs, it’s from their Love Your Ground EP and features Laura Marling on background vocals. I think I’ve posted it before. Also, major props to Jill for sending me “Static Waves” last week - such a great song! Let me know what you guys think of this week’s mix!
