Happy New Year’s Eve everyone!
Drove out to Palm Springs with some friends for New Years. Had such an amazing time! The weather was perfect, the company was delightful….and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to ring in the new year!
We picked up a Contour Roam over the holidays as a Christmas gifts to ourselves (got a really good deal on it, too!). It’s been really fun to shoot with and I can’t wait to play with it when we go to the Virgin Islands in a few weeks.

NYE in London
Writing this from London. It’s already almost 2AM on January 1, 2009.
I feel like I’m writing from the future, as all my friends are in California, and it’s only almost 6PM there!
I’m very thankful for my trip here, and that I could ring in the 2009 with Tawny and her family, and partake in their NYE traditions — like eating 12 grapes at midnight, once with every chime of Big Ben, and making a wish each time. (Though it was weird not watching Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and watching the ball drop on TV.)
I wish I didn’t have to go home in a few days. There’s still so much to see/eat/drink/do!
Happy 2009 everyone. Let’s make it good.
