Jumpin’ on the threewords bandwagon.
Fill in the blanks: Michelle is [_____], [______], and [_____].
Day 24 → Whatever tickles your fancy
One of my favorite A Softer World comics.
Mental Floss: Where Knowledge Junkies Get Their Fix
Whenever I’m bored I click over to MentalFloss.com and learn something new.
Did I already mention I’m a huge nerd? Yeeaahhh.
Two years ago, I made cookies from scratch for the very first time. For all of you who don’t know me, baking is absolutely not my thing. It makes me incredibly nervous, so generally I don’t bake. Ever. Especially things from scratch. (Stuff out of a box is fair game though.)
I made these for a work Christmas party and they were a rousing success, if I do say so myself. It was also startlingly easy. Click-through for the recipe!
Day 17 → An art piece (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.)
John Baldessari, Terms Most Useful in Describing Creative Works of Art, 1966-68.
Day 16 → A song that makes you cry (or nearly)
Gary Jules and Michael Andrews - “Mad World” (Tears for Fears cover)
This song kills me.
All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
Day 11 → A photo of you taken recently
Here’s a picture of Vanessa, Joyce and me at our friend Kristin’s wedding about a week and a half ago that Serena took. (She was also shooting the wedding.) Yes, that’s me in a dress. It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen.
