This is seriously so adorable. (Plus they cover one of my favorite songs!)
I especially love when she asks him, “One day, I’m gonna whistle?” at 1:48!
So, after a brief hiatus, my weekly Mixtape Mondays are back! — and it’s Wednesday. Well… at least they’re back! The mixtapes were on hold while I was in London, so my first one back is full of tracks about my hometown, Los Angeles. (Or songs that remind me of California in general). However, it kicks off with one of my favorite songs about New York, because I had a brief stop in the Big Apple before heading back to sunny California.

So, I saw this print in the bathroom of a gastropub down in Orange County this weekend. It made me laugh, so I took a picture. Don’t take this as a sign to feed your pets beer, it’s probably not a good idea. Hope you guys like the tunes — the first track is actually one of my favorite Mumford & Sons songs, it’s from their Love Your Ground EP and features Laura Marling on background vocals. I think I’ve posted it before. Also, major props to Jill for sending me “Static Waves” last week - such a great song! Let me know what you guys think of this week’s mix!
