The Springs Fire has now hit PCH. Fuck.
Some numbers:
-Started around 6:30am on Thursday morning
-8,000 acres, 10% contained
-2,000 homes have been threatend, 15 sustained damage, none were destroyed.
-925 personnel are now committed to the fire.
-Road Closures, PCH between Las Posas and Yerba Buena, Yerba Buena Rd., Deer Creek Rd.

I’ve been here. This is in Felicity, CA just before you hit Yuma, Arizona on Interstate 8. This is the 25 ft high, Section Number 12 of the original stairway of the Eiffel Tower. The whole place is a little odd, but kind of wonderful too. Read more about The Center of the World here.
